Frontier Master Class

Managing and Growing Product Lines as Complex Adaptive Systems

An in-depth, 2-day master class — the foundation for truly exploiting AI and AI agents in the enterprise.

It’s not about automating what you do. It’s about changing what you do.

See 2026–27 Dates & Fees Download the Brochure

Critical Topics

  • Product lines as complex adaptive systems: archetypes, parts, forces, and dynamics
  • The Constructor: holding congruency and assemblage as one motion
  • Platform-levers, chain-link affordance, and multi-generational moves
  • The Accelerating Learning Loop: lap time, velocity, and loop maturity
  • Jobs-to-be-Done and verb-based market segmentation
  • Transformations, strategy pivots, and roadmap recasts
  • Where AI and AI agents actually change the work — not just automate it
  • ConstructorOne™: operationalizing the Constructor with agentic AI
  • Governance, decision flow, and portfolio memory
  • Corporate innovation under uncertainty: complexity as your enabling constraint

The Class

An In-Depth, 2-Day Frontier Master Class

This master class delivers a working understanding of product lines as complex adaptive systems — and of the Constructor, a powerful enabler that both builds the product line and holds it fit with the organization. It is the thinking that changes (almost) everything about how mid- and large-sized companies develop, manage, and grow their product lines. And it is the foundation for exploiting AI — and AI agents — for genuine advantage, rather than merely automating yesterday’s work.

Participants Learn How To…

  • Position purposefully — for greater customer advantage and competitiveness
  • Focus functional roles and responsibilities to maximize product-line gains
  • Build responsive roadmapping capability
  • Target impactful innovations — rather than screening ideas to find them
  • Amplify operational effectiveness across the line

It Changes (Almost) Everything About Product Development and Management.

Multi-product, complex-adaptive thinking trounces single-product thinking.

Through discussions, examples, and cases, the class explores and clarifies:

The Constructor
Congruency & Assemblage
Attribute Positioning
Platform-levers
Jobs-to-be-Done Segmentation
Innovation Charters
System Archetypes
Transformations, Pivots & Recasts
Responsive Roadmapping
Governance
Chain-Link Affordance
The Accelerating Learning Loop

Participants come from B2B and B2C companies, high-tech to low-tech. You’ll find leaders representing many kinds of product lines — long life cycles and short, product-oriented and service-oriented, specialty and commodity. No matter the setting, the principles of product lines as complex adaptive systems, and of good strategy, apply.

Key Learnings

1

See — and manage — your product line as a complex adaptive system

2

Take up the Constructor role: hold congruency and assemblage as one motion

3

Integrate top-down business strategy and bottom-up know-how into product-line strategic moves

4

Find and release the systemic bottleneck (rarely about resource limits)

5

Surpass the limits of project and product-portfolio management

6

Define superior platform-levers, chain-link affordances, and system archetypes

7

Run the Accelerating Learning Loop to shorten lap time and raise velocity

8

Point AI and AI agents where they change the work — using ConstructorOne™ as the model

The Frontier

The Constructor, AI, and Agents

Most “AI for product management” amounts to automating the work you already do. This class starts somewhere else. You’ll build a deep, working grasp of the Constructor — the role in a complex adaptive product line that holds congruency (reading the system for fit) and assemblage (building it forward) as one continuous motion. Then you’ll see that role operationalized with agentic AI.

Using ConstructorOne™ as a worked example, we show how a team of AI agents runs inside the product line’s Accelerating Learning Loop — sensing fit, surfacing risk, holding portfolio memory, and shortening lap time — under real enterprise conditions. The point is not a faster version of the old operating model. It’s a different operating model — and the reason AI becomes genuinely transformative rather than merely efficient.

You’ll leave knowing where, specifically, to point AI and AI agents in a large organization: what to change, what to stop doing, and what only a Constructor-shaped operating model makes possible.
