Product Line System Management (PLSM)

The discipline of managing product line systems as the unit of strategic concern. Distinct from Product Management (which manages individual products) and Strategy (which often abstracts away from operational mechanics). PLSM is one of the disciplines from which senior architects are typically drawn. See also Senior Architect.
