Outcome Velocity

The vector measure that replaces Time-to-Market. Three numbers, read at two points in time, with the line between the two readings as the vector itself: (1) cash flow per product line — the cash the line throws off after the cost of keeping it current; (2) customer pull — repeat-purchase rate, share-of-wallet shift, net retention; (3) competitive position — share-of-segment, feature-parity gap, win-rate against the leading rival. Time-to-Market is a scalar; Outcome Velocity is a vector with length and direction, and strategic moves bend it. Named in Chapter 2; defined in Chapter 4. The Architect role’s KPI. See also Time-to-Market, Strategic Move Stream.
