The Product Line Momentum is the Velocity of product line multiplied by the mass of the same product line. Mass is calculated as the size of the product either as financial measure (sales, earnings, etc.) or unit volume sold. High value product line momentum, either positive or negative, is difficult to redirect.

High Product Line Momentum drives the cadence of an organization’s processes, builds customer loyalty, and crushes competitors.

Low Product Line Momentum suggests a line with low strategic impact and an organization with ineffective process flows.
