Product Line Strategy (Congruency corner)
One of the three corners of the Congruency Triangle, coupled to the business strategy above it. Not a list of goals or targets. Two things: focus — how hard the line concentrates its energy, and on what — and direction — where that focus is meant to take the line. Together, focus and direction guide every decision the line makes. In systems terms, the strategy is an enabling constraint: it bounds the choices without fixing the outcome. The Strategic Move Stream is the strategy in motion; the Roadmap is its visible record. Defined in Chapter 5; developed in Chapter 7. See also Enabling Constraint, Strategic Move Stream, Roadmap, Product Line Congruency Theory.
