Congruency Inertia
The architectural lock-in of an incumbent whose archetype, business model, and strategy are tuned to each other around an existing archetype. The incumbent cannot move one corner without snapping the other two, which is why incumbents so rarely disrupt. The architectural cousin of Management Debt. Developed in the Disruption Window chapter (Chapter 9). See also Archetype Disruption Theory, Management Debt.
